Clara Hill was born in Berlin and currently resides there. She describes her style as "future soul...warm and deep" and gets her inspiration from "words, nature, art, harmonies, sounds...music". Influences on her sound include soul (souljazz specifically), Brazilian and folk music as well as deep house, disco, hip hop and classic music. What makes these varied styles work for her is, as she states there are "just little parts inside various songs which are fascinating and influencing me".
